Best New Car Deals and Incentives February 2011

February is the month of love, as they say, and no day is supposed to remind us more of our significant other than Valentine’s Day – except for maybe our anniversary. Then again, there are those married couples who chose the heart-felt holiday as their special day to exchange their vows, too. Unfortunately, those poor fellas didn’t realize what they were doing. They were only doubling the “Gift Value” of that particular day, for the rest of their lives. Valentine’s Day gifts to their wives had to go from flowers and dinner, to giant exotic vacations and countless trips to the jewelry store. For those of you poor saps who fell for this cunning little scheme by the more-intelligent female of the species, you may want to take a gander at some of the best new car deals and incentives for February. Finding your sweetheart that perfect brand new ride might just get you off the hook for that 3-carat diamond ring next February.

GM

Chevy is offering some decent deals on several 2011 models. Some of their best include:

• 2011 Chevy Impala LS                         $3,500 Cash Allowance or 0% APR up to 72 months
• 2011 Chevy Malibu LS                         $2,500 Cash Allowance or 0% APR up to 60 months
• 2011 Chevy Aveo 5-Door LS             $1,500 Cash Allowance or 3.9% APR up to 60 months
• 2011 Chevy Cobalt Coupe                  $3,000 Cash Allowance or 0% APR up to 60 months

GM’s Buick line is also giving away a cash or low interest offer for its short line of luxury. Here are a couple you can check out from that line:

• 2011 Buick Lucerne                                           $4,000 Cash Allowance or 1.9% APR up to 60 months
• 2011 Buick LaCrosse & Regal CXL              2.9% APR for up to 60 months

Cadillac was not left off the GM low-interest-rate bonanza. All 2011 Cadillac models are eligible for 1.9% APR financing for up to 36 months.

Ford

Ford is sticking with the cash-or-interest approach to their deals this month as well. These are the vehicles which should be highlighted on your shopping list:

• 2011 Ford Fusion                     $2,500 Cash Back or 0% APR for 60 months + $500 Bonus Cash
• 2011 Ford Focus                       $3,500 Cash Back or 0% APR for 60 months + $500 Bonus Cash
• 2011 Ford Taurus                    $2,000 Cash Back or 0% APR for 36 months
• 2011 Ford Mustang                 $1,500 Cash Back

Ford’s luxury line, Lincoln, may also pique your interest with these deals:

• 2011 Lincoln MKS                     $3,000 cash back or 0% APR for 36 months + $1,000 Bonus Cash
• 2011 Lincoln Town Car           Up to $4,000 Cash Back

Ford always offers Military Personnel and Police Officers an additional $500 bonus as well, on all of their lines.

Chrysler

The sales drop must’ve given Chrysler a pretty good amount of overstocked inventory, because they’re trying to clear out even more of their 2010 models. They are offering 0% interest for up to 72 months on all 2010 Chrysler vehicles. This, of course, does not include the new Chrysler 200 you saw advertised during the Super Bowl, as it will be a new 2011-model-year vehicle; they are, however, offering 0% APR for up to 36 months or $750 cash back on it.

Dodge is also offering 0% interest on 2010 models, up to 60 months for most. Their biggest deals on 2011 models are:

• 2011 Dodge Caliber                $1,500 Cash Allowance or 0% APR up to 60 months
• 2011 Dodge Challenger          3.9% APR for 60 months + $1,000 Bonus Cash on R/T models

All Chrysler lines also come with the $500 bonus discount for military personnel.

Toyota

Through February, Toyota is also offering a nice financing deal on many 2011 models through most regions. You could get cash back or an APR as low as 0-1.9% for highly-regarded models like:

• 2011 Toyota Avalon                                     Up to $750 Cash Back or 1.9% APR for 60 months
• 2011 Toyota Camry (non-hybrid)          Up to $1,000 Cash Back or 0% APR for 60 months + $500 Down Payment Assistance
• 2011 Toyota Corolla                                    Up to $750 Cash Back or 0% APR for 60 months + $500 Down Payment Assistance
• 2010 Toyota Prius                                        Up to $1,000 Cash Back or 0.9% APR for 60 months

Honda

Honda is offering 0.9% financing on several of their 2010 models. Like most companies, they are clearing out last year’s inventory to make room for the new models. Some of these could probably be had at very reasonable deals. They include:

• 2010 Honda Civic Hybrid                  0.9% APR for up to 60 months
• 2010 Honda Accord Sedan                0.9% APR for up to 60 months
• 2010 Honda Fit                                       0.9% APR for up to 60 months

Hyundai

You didn’t expect Honda and then no Hyundai, did you? Of course not. Hyundai has been crawling up Honda’s back in quality for quite some time now, they’re not about to be beaten in the incentive department.

• 2010 Hyundai Sonata              Up to $2,500 Cash Back or 1.9% APR for 36 months
• 2010 Hyundai Genesis            Up to $1,500 Owner Coupon or 0% APR for 36 months
• 2011 Hyundai Genesis             Up to $1,500 Owner Coupon or 0.9% APR for 36 months
• 2010 Hyundai Elantra             Up to $1,500 Cash Back or 1.9% APR for 36 months
• 2010 Hyundai Accent              Up to $1,000 Cash Back or 1.9% APR for 36 months

Nissan

Nissan is steering away from incentive-laden deals for their cars this February; most of their price-poppers are in the SUV and truck lines. Still, the cars aren’t totally forgotten. Here’s a couple of the best:

• 2011 Nissan Altima                 Up to $1,250 Cash Back or 0% APR for 36 months
• 2011 Nissan Maxima              Up to $1,000 Cash Back or 0% APR for 60 months

Luxury brands like Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz are all going with financing offers until the end of February. The three brands seem to all agree that 1.9% is the lowest APR they’re willing to give, but there are quite a few models being offered at that APR if you’d like to check out one of these brands.
