Finding room in the budget to go for a new vehicle may be tougher in December than other months of the year – or not. Automakers do offer some very attractive lease deals on certain models that are either going to be discontinued, are slow sellers, or to make way for brand-new models. With this in mind, we’ve scoured the current offerings to come up with the following best car lease deals December 2015.

Note that all of these deals are good until the first part of January 2016.

Flexible, versatile, roomy, comfortable and incredibly popular, crossovers and SUVs continue to provide families with just what they need. As these December lease deals prove, there’s value to be snagged.

2016 BMW X1 – Completely redesigned, the 2016 BMW X1 luxury crossover (xDrive28i) is available to lease for $399 per month for 36 months, with $4,324 due at signing. The new model is almost two inches taller, is roomy for four adults (although it’s a five-passenger vehicle), has more cargo room (at 58.7 cubic feet), and, most importantly, is a BMW.

2016 Mazda CX-5Consumers looking for an athletic crossover with good looks, great gas mileage and a lot of flair could do well to consider the 2016 Mazda CX-5. Not only is the CX-5 comfortable, it also handles well and offers plenty of features. Mazda is offering a $269 per month, 39-month lease on the base CX-5 Sport with front-wheel drive and automatic transmission with $0 due at signing and $0 first month’s payment.

2016 Kia SorentoRoomier and more refined than ever, the completely redesigned and re-engineered 2016 Kia Sorento continues to offer three-row, seven-passenger practicality in a slightly larger vehicle than its predecessor. Impressive interior trim and a quiet, responsive ride are other highpoints. Consumers can lease the 2016 Kia Sorento LX for 24 months at $269 per month, or $264 per month for 36 months, both with $1,999 due at signing.

2016 Acura MDXConsidered one of the best three-row luxury SUVs on the market, the 2016 Acura MDX is refined and quiet, roomy for seven passengers, and easy to operate. For the 2016 model year, the MDX gets some significant upgrades, including a nine-speed automatic transmission with push-button electronic gear selector. The lease that may entice consumers into the door is a $419 per month, 36-month lease with $2,999 due at signing, or a $500/month, 36-month lease with $0 due at signing and $0 first month’s payment.

2016 Ford EscapeDepending on the region, the 2016 Ford Escape compact crossover SUV (essentially a comfortable, sleek and practical tall wagon) is available to lease for $229-$239 per month. In the Southwest, the front-wheel drive Escape SE requires $2,609 paid at signing, while it’s $2,779 in the Southeast. In the West and Northwest, the Escape SE with all-wheel drive is $239/month with $2,989 due at signing.

2016 Hyundai TucsonAnother compact SUV with an attractive lease offer is the 2016 Hyundai Tucson, available to lease until January 5, 2016 for 36 months at $239 per month, with $2,999 due at signing.

2016 Volkswagen TiguanThe 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan compact SUV is being offered with a $279 per month, 36-month lease with $0 due at signing and $0 first month’s payment. This lease offer applies to the Tiguan S model.

2015 Honda CR-VThe earnest, practical and extremely fuel efficient 2015 Honda CR-V compact crossover proves that great deals can come in relatively small packages. The CR-V looks great, is highly functional and the price – for many consumers – is right. Honda is offering 39-month leases on various CR-V models ranging from $209/month on the two-wheel drive LX with $1,999 due at signing, to $260/month on the two-wheel drive and all-wheel drive LX.

The 2016 Mazda Mazda6 midsize sedan, besides seating five in comfort, is stunning in its redesign, considered almost voluptuous on the inside and, best of all, is available to lease for 36 months at $239 per month with $0 due at signing and $0 first month’s payment.

2016 Mercedes-Benz C-ClassIf a brand-new Mercedes-Benz is on your Christmas wish list, you might want to check out the $399 and $409 36-month leases on the 2016 C300 Sport and C300 4MATIC Sport sedans, respectively. The former requires $4,553 to be paid at signing, while the latter has a $4,703 amount-due-at-signing requirement.

2016 Cadillac XTSIt is Cadillac’s number three best-selling vehicle and the 2016 Cadillac XTS luxury sedan is available with a 36-month lease at $489 per month, with $4,339 due at signing. This lease offer applies to the XTS with base preferred equipment group.

2016 Toyota AvalonIf you need a larger family sedan that’s affordable, the 2016 Toyota Avalon might be just the transportation choice for you. Lease deals vary depending on area of the country and model, and range from $264 for 36 months with $2,999 due at signing on Avalon XLE (in New England), to $349 for 35 months with $1,999 due at signing (XLE, Southern California).
