It’s an annual tradition at Consumer Reports, where the publication’s editors spotlight the top-scoring domestic-branded models, i.e., the traditional domestic automakers: Chrysler, Ford, and General Motors. Note that the Consumer Reports list is not numbered, but instead is based on the top pick per category. In the 2012 list, there is no entry that qualified for Small Car.
- 2012 Ford Fusion Hybrid – Family Sedan
- 2012 Ford Fusion (4-cylinder) – Affordable Family Sedan
- 2012 Cadillac CTS – Sports Sedan
