Midway between spring and summer, May is also the month when many consumers are in the market for a new vehicle. Whether it’s in preparation for a vacation, getting a car for a newly-licensed driver or adding a vehicle to accommodate family needs, or just because you want something new, there are many good lease deals available this month to choose from.
Most of these deals expire May 31, although Mazda has some that go through June 30 as well as some good until the end of May. Lease deals from Cadillac are valid until June 30 and Acura, Honda and Kia lease deals go through July 5. It’s also worth noting that deals may vary, depending on location, make and model. Use these as a representative guide of the lease deals available this month.
2016 Acura TLX – Consumers can lease the 2016 Acura TLX midsize luxury sedan for three years at $309/month with $2,799 paid at signing. There’s also a 36-month TLX lease for $390/month and $0 due at signing and $0 first month’s payment.
2016 BMW X3 – For a compact luxury SUV, there’s a lot to like about the 36-month, $409/month lease of the 2016 BMW X3 sDrive28i. Pay $4,334 upon signing. The xDrive28i is $439/month with $4,364 paid at signing and the xDrive35i is $519/month with $4,444 due at signing.
2016 Buick Encore – Get style, fuel efficiency, versatility and more in the 2016 Buick Encore subcompact SUV, available this month with a $179/month, 39-month lease and $2,319 due upon signing. This lease offer applies to the Encore with 1SB Preferred Equipment Group.
2016 Cadillac ATS – Cadillac is offering attractive 36-month leases on the 2016 ATS coupe and sedan through June 30. The ATS sedan, standard collection with 2.0-liter turbo is $299/month with $3,509 due at signing, while the ATS coupe, luxury collection, is $369/month with $ 4,109 paid at signing.
2016 Chevrolet Cruze – For young drivers, commuters and those interested in affordable, fuel-efficient transportation, a 36-month lease of the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze might just be the right choice. Chevy is offering a three-year lease of Cruze Limited 1LT for $179/month, with $500 paid at signing.
2016 Chevrolet Equinox – You don’t have to pay an arm and a leg to get into a roomy and versatile crossover SUV. The 2016 Chevrolet Equinox LT Preferred Equipment Group comes with a $199/month, 24-month lease. Just pay $3,279 at signing.
2016– Another attractive lease, this one for 39 months on the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu, is $199/month with $500 paid at signing on the Malibu Limited Preferred Equipment Group. There’s also a 39-month, $199/month lease on Malibu 1LT with $2,729 to be paid at signing.
2016 Ford Fusion, Fusion Energi, Fusion Hybrid – The midsize 2016 Ford Fusion sedan is being offered in various parts of the country with a 36-month lease at $139/month with $3,333 due at signing (Fusion SE, front-wheel drive, in the Northeast), to $189 for 36-months and $1,999 due at signing on Fusion SE, front-wheel drive, in the Southeast.

Fusion Energi is available with a 24-month lease at $139/month with $3,233 due at signing (on Energi SE in the Northeast), to $189/month for 36 months with $2,349 to be paid at signing (Energi SE in the Southeast).

There’s also a 39-month, $279/month lease on Canyon 2WD crew cab SLE with $1,999 paid at signing.
2016 Honda Accord – The midsize 2016 Honda Accord LX CVT sedan is available to lease for 36 months at $189/month, with $1,999 due at signing, or go for a 35-month lease at $240/month with $0 due at signing and $0 first month’s payment.
2016 Honda Fit – Zip around town in the 2016 Honda Fit LX with CVT with a $159/month, 36-month lease and $1,999 paid at signing. Or, go for the 36-month lease with $0 due at signing and $0 first month’s payment and then monthly payments of $210/month.

2016 Hyundai Tucson – In several areas of the county, consumers can snap up a 36-month, $209/month lease on the 2016 Hyundai Tucson. Depending on region, pay $2,499 or $2,999 at signing. In the Northeast, Hyundai is offering a 24-month, $199/month lease with $2,499 due at signing.
2016 Kia Optima Hybrid – Depending on the area where you live, you might be able to take advantage of attractive 24- and 36-month lease offers on the 2016 Kia Optima Hybrid, all with $1,999 due at signing. For example, Kia has a $183/month, 24-month or $209/month, 36-month lease available in the Northeast. There’s also a $193/month for 24 months or $219/month for 36 months lease available in the Midwest and West, as well as a $203/month for 24 months and $229/month for 36 months lease in the Southeast and Gulf States. The best news is that Kia lease deals are good through July 5.
2016 Mazda Mazda3 – If you’re looking to lease the smart and snappy 2016 Mazda Mazda3, the Japanese automaker has some good deals available. Depending on region, these all involve 36-month leases on the Mazda3 iSport sedan and hatchback. Monthly lease payments range from as low as $119/month with $2,999 due at signing on the Mazda3 iSport sedan in the Northeast (although there are some areas where you’ll pay more per month but only need $1,999 at lease signing), to a high of $239/month with $0 due at signing and $0 first month’s payment on the Mazda3 iSport hatchback with automatic transmission in the Gulf States and West. Note that the lease expiration dates are either May 31 (the $119/36-month lease mentioned here) or June 30 (which applies to the $239/36-month Mazda3 iSport hatchback also mentioned here).
2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class – It’s not difficult to see yourself in a compact luxury SUV like the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class, right?
