Fall is a great time to be looking for the best truck deals, lease and purchase, September 2012. Note that the Chevrolet, GMC, Ford and Honda deals expire October 31, 2012. Unless otherwise noted, all other deals expire October 1, 2012.

2012 Chevrolet AvalancheThe midsize 2012 Chevrolet Avalanche offers $4,500 cash back on a purchase, or buyers can choose 0.9 percent financing for 60 months.

2012 Chevrolet ColoradoGet $1,500 cash back or 1.9 percent financing for 60 months on the purchase of the 2012 Chevrolet Colorado extended cab pickup.

2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Silverado 1500 Hybrid – Buyers of the 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 can choose cash back ($2,000 on regular cab, $3,500 on extended cab, $3,000 on crew cab) or zero-percent financing for 60 months. On the 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Hybrid, buyers can choose from $3,000 cash back or zero-percent financing for 60 months.

2012 Chevrolet Silverado HD – Opt for the heavy-duty versions of the 2012 Chevy Silverado (2500HD and 3500HD) and get $2,500 cash back or zero-percent financing for 60 months.

2012 Ford F-150Get into the full-size 2012 Ford F-150 regular cab pickup and take home $2,500 cash back ($2,000 in the Northwest). On the Super Cab FX4, Lariat, STX, XL and XLT models, the cash back offer is $3,000 ($2,500 in the Northwest. In the Southwest, on the Super Crew XLT, the offer is $3,500 cash back. There’s also a lease available in the Northeast on the Super Cab XLT 4X4 with chrome for 24 months at $269 per month, with $5,273 due at signing, and one in the West on Super Crew XLT 4×2 3.7-liter V6 with chrome and tow for $249 per month for 36 months with $4,208 due at signing.

2012 Ford Super Duty – On diesel Super Duty models, the purchase offer is $4,000 cash back or $1,000 cash back plus zero-percent financing for up to 60 months or 1.9 percent financing for 72 months. Opt to buy the gasoline-powered Ford Super Duty and the cash back offer is $3,000 cash back, or $1,000 cash plus zero-percent financing for up to 60 months, or 1.9 percent for 72 months.

2012 GMC CanyonBuyers can get cash back on the 2012 GMC Canyon compact pickup this month: $500 on regular cab, $1,000 on crew cab, $1,500 on extended cab. Or, opt for 1.9 percent financing for 60 months.

2012 GMC Sierra 1500 Hybrid, Sierra 1500 – The 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 Hybrid comes with a $3,000 cash back offer or zero-percent financing for 60 months. The GMC Sierra 1500 also carries cash back or zero-percent financing for 60 months as follows: $2,000 on regular cab, $3,000 on crew cab, and $3,500 on extended cab.

2012 Honda RidgelineNo cash back offers on the table this month, but the midsize 2012 Honda Ridgeline does come with two attractive financing deals: 0.9 percent for 24-36 months or 1.9 percent for 37-60 months.

2012 Nissan FrontierTwo separate purchase deals, same details, applying to Frontier S and non-S trims: $1,500 cash back plus $500 cash when financed through NMAC, or zero-percent financing for 36 months plus $500 NMAC cash; or 0.9 percent for 60 months; or 1.9 percent for 72 months plus $500 NMAC cash. There’s also a 39-month lease at $249 per month with $2,499 due at signing available in most regions on the Frontier King Cab SV trim with 4WD and automatic transmission.

2012 Nissan Titan – Purchase deals vary by region and include $5,000 cash back on Pro-4X trim (Southeast, Southwest and West), or zero-percent financing for 36 months plus $500 cash when financed through NMAC, or 0.9 percent for 60 months plus $500 NMAC cash, or 1.9 percent for 72 months plus $500 NMAC cash. In the Northeast and Northwest, excluding Pro-4X trim, the purchase deal is $3,000 cash back, or zero-percent for 36 months, or 0.9 percent for 60 months, or 1.9 percent for 72 months. On the leasing side, available in most regions, lease the Titan crew cab SV SWB trim with 4WD and SV value truck package for $499 per month for 39 months with $2,999 due at signing.

2012 Ram 1500 – Check out the Ram official site for full details, but consumers can get up to $4,000 cash allowance on various 2012 Ram 1500 models (regular cab, Sport, Tradesman, Outdoorsman, Laramie, Big Horn, ST, SLT, etc.), or zero-percent financing for 60 months on select models, or zero-percent for up to 36 months on select models. Or, lease a Ram 1500 Express Quad Cab 4X2 6’4” box for $259 per month for 39 months with $3,179 due at signing.

2012 Toyota TacomaOn a purchase, buyers in the Mid Atlantic, New England, Ohio Valley, Gulf States and Mountain can get $500 cash back. Also in the Gulf States, on Tacoma with Texas or TSS Accessory Package, it is $1,500 cash back. In the Midwest, it’s $750 cash back or 1.9 percent financing for 60 months, while in Northern California it’s $500 cash back or 1.9 percent for 48 months. Lease deals range from $219 per month for 36 months with $2,999 due at signing (New York), to $339 per month for 36 months with $0 due at signing on the 2.7-liter four-cylinder Tacoma (Southern California).

2012 Toyota TundraThe Japanese automaker has a wealth of purchase deals available this month, ranging from $2,750 cash back on CrewMax or $2,500 on regular or double cab, or zero-percent financing for 60 months plus $1,000 bonus cash (New England and Ohio Valley), to $5,000 cash back or zero-percent financing for 60 months on Special Edition CrewMax with Texas, Oklahoma or TSS Accessory Package (Gulf States). On the leasing side, it’s just as varied, with 36 month leases ranging from $289 per month with $2,999 due at signing (on double cab 4X4 in New England, on 4WD V8 in Mid Atlantic), to $429 per month with $0 due at signing plus $1,000 cash back on 2WD Tundra CrewMax 4.6-liter V8 in Southern California.
